Here we are going to break down the two highest level Ram 1500 trims, the Limited and the Laramie Longhorn. Performance Overview
Impressive Standard V6
All Ram trims other than the are fit with the same standard engine, the capable 3.6L V6 with eTorque. This engine has the unique feature of variable valve timing that gives excellent power and efficiency at a moments notice. The eTorque system gives distinct benefits to truck buyers like undetectable star/ stop events and a lot more efficiency. The system scans current driving conditions and will add a little torque or find opportunity to charge the battery through regenerative braking. Ram has some incredible engines to step up to including this 5.3L HEMI V8 and a 3.0L V6 Turbo Diesel, both which deliver incredible power. The HEMI will only set you back $1,500 on the upgrade while the Turbo Diesel will cost you $5,000.

Unique Styles
Ram is known for their bold, strong design that continues in the new generation of Ram pickups. These trims have unique personalities rooted in rugged luxury. They both feature the updated grill design that integrates the headlights and grill together for a modern look. Each trim has unique grill inserts that stand out with bold use of chrome.
Longhorn
The Ram 1500 has a strong grill that is framed with chrome on the Longhorn with strong horizontal chrome inserts. The trim comes standard with halogen lights and LED daytime running lights are paired with low LED fog lights and LED tail lights. Both bumpers are chrome as well as chrome door handles and mirror caps.
Limited
The trims have similar exteriors with the Limited clearly having a more high-end style. The chrome grill inserts add a luxury look that matches the overall sleek and modern personality of this trim. LED headlights come standard and improve brightness on the road as well as round out the modern style of the Limited trim.
Full Length Luxury
Shown here is the Laramie Longhorn with LED taillights and the standard 20 inch machined aluminum wheels. You can also see the chrome accent around the windows that comes on both these luxury trims. There are 22 inch wheel options to choose from for both trims with the Limited also coming standard with chrome 20 inch wheels.

The Longhorn has two leather interior colors combinations available, a brown and beige or black and beige accented leather. The wood accents and accented seats add to the strong personality of the Laramie Longhorn trim. An 8.4 inch infotainment system comes standard.
Limited
The Limited has two leather interior colors available, the two-tone Black and grey as well as an all black option. The interior also has Limited branding on the dashboard that adds to the luxury vibe. This trim also comes standard with the unbelievable 12 in infotainment system that transforms the cabin.
Infotainment System
The Limited comes with the 12 inch infotainment system standard to give truck buyers the best in cabin technology. This massive display adds to the modern feel by delivering vehicle information in vivid colors. The Longhorn trim can upgrade to the 12 inch system from the standard 8.4 inch.
