Just curious after watching the video from TheCrumble on a AT's top speed. I think I saw 187 kph (about 115mph) but will they go any faster?

I know that the clocks get less and less accurate over 100mph. I'd imagine that the US model won't be governed, if there is one in place on any of them worldwide.

I have seen 220 on the clock (flat road ), Zumo not fitted yet , will check accuracy when I can

I think I might be alone in not caring at all what the top speed is! As long as it'll do 80-90mph two-up with luggage I'm happy.

I'd be interested to know maximum comfortable cruising speed also if there is a speed difference between Manual and DCT and how much.

My ST (pictured) holds about 7 mph off from about 40 to 120mph, after that I'm not really sure.

On my DCT model:

Bike says: 56kmh
Zumo says: 51kmh

Bike says: 120kmh
Zumo says: 112kmh

Bike says: 155kmh
Zumo says: 143kmh

Don't know what the top speed is, but 155kmh is more than enough on the autobahn with these idiot Audi BMW drivers tailing me. I've got enough power to pull away quickly even at 150kmh in 6th gear and change lane when it comes to that.

The idiots are not only Bmw or Audi drivers ,
The idiots are even in small cars .:|

Nah small cars are usually no bother tbh. You rarely see one of those fast Golfs who'd wanna mess. The regular small car can't handle to catch up once our bikes accelerate away. I only notice Audi and BMW mostly.

Have to agree with you....if I wanted fast I would have a sports bike....

Like many above I am not really bothered about the top speed however I was impressed by the rideability of the AT at speed as shown in this youtube video https://youtu.be/j3GqtAwVlV8

I don't want to push the limits of tubed tires to be honest, and 100 mph is fine with me. Getting there is quick in any situation, what's more to ask for it's not a sport bike as you say.

I may in fact gear mine lower as I don't need all the top end speed, better to use the power fully on acceleration and have an easier time climbing steep switchbacks etc, stay in 2nd gear more, and so on.

Yeah, I don't particularly care what the top speed is either. I live in Japan, and the Honda dealer told me they are governed to 180km/h, but in all my years in Japan, I've never found anywhere that would feel safe riding at that speed, even on the motorway, so it's not an issue at all.

I'm pretty sure I saw the gearing specs and the DCT is geared slightly higher. Can anyone confirm?
